Research Reflection

Questions:

1. Summarize your writing process on this paper, pointing out what you found most difficult, most useful, and least useful.  Is there anything you would do differently next time?  Is there anything you think I should do differently next year in preparing students for this assignment?

1. This was the longest amount of time I have ever spent on a paper. The time commitment was probably the most difficult thing about the process as a whole. On the other hand, finding good sources was the easiest part of the process. The databases were the most useful to me because of the easy access to the necessary documents. The least useful to me was the research group. It may have worked for others, but I don't think my paper is any different because of the research group. To make the process smoother next year, I think that more progress deadlines would make the process much smoother.

2. I didn't get too much feedback from anyone. The feedback I did get was mostly minor and quickly changed.

3. The strongest part of my paper in my opinion is the idea of the paper. This idea is a growing topic and will soon be recognized by everyone in the country. My organization also helps to bring out the best of the idea. The weakest part of my paper will probably be conventions. I came across many formatting issues and I hope I corrected most if not all of them.

4. As you read my paper, think about soccer one day being as big as the NFL or MLB. My supporting details say that it will very soon.
